JOB DESCRIPTION: CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE REP (“CCSR’)

As a Cashier/Customer Service Rep (“CCSR”) you will be essential to the operations of Green Era Cannabis Dispensary. Many times, a CCSR is the difference between a guest who enters our establishment disgruntled and exits with smiles on their face. It is Green Era, LLC’s mission to be the highlight of our guests’ days. Good hygiene, an easy going and friendly demeanor is key to a CCSR. All CCSR will work as a part of a sales team. Every member of the sales team will add their unique dynamic creating a synergy to successfully achieve its goals.

All CCSR will need an intimate knowledge of all the products Green Era, LLC may carry. Many times, guests may not know exactly what they need, this is when product knowledge will become essential. A basic understanding of any Point of Sales (“POS”) system will be helpful, although during a CCSRs training, you will be familiarized with our POS systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting guests with product inquiries and making recommendations if requested.
- Performing ID checks
- Compiling orders.
- Processing items for sale
- Taking multiple forms of payment and returning accurate change.
- Make sure all product is placed in exit bags with a receipt stapled to it.
- Maintaining workstations with all supplies necessary.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Light cleaning duties at the beginning and end of each shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 21 years of age or older.
- Customer service or cashier experience.
- Attention to detail to a high level of accuracy.
- Basic math & computer skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to work within a team to provide excellent customer service.
- Have a communicative and empathetic approach to customer complaints.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to a strict protocol.
- Ability to learn and inform customers about a wide range of products.

All CCSRs will begin their employment at $16 an hour.
All CCSRs will be hired as part time.
All CCSRs will be expected to work from 18-31 hours.

HIRING PROCESS
When a potential new hire decides that Green Era, LLC is a good fit for them, please submit a resume through either indeed or in person. After submitting a resume online, your resume will be reviewed, and you will be requested to drop by in person to fill out an application. At which point a preliminary interview may be performed. The notes of the preliminary interview will be reviewed, and we will contact you either for a second interview or to begin the hiring process.

During the hiring process, Green Era, LLC must perform a background check. This background check is performed in compliance with CCC regulations. Once background checks are cleared, you will then begin the onboarding process. The onboarding process time may vary, it can consist of multiple state required training courses. Some of the required training courses are required to obtain a CCC approved agent badge. Any staff member that may be expected to handle any cannabis products will be required to obtain an approved agent badge.

During the on-boarding and on-site training process, you may be scheduled minimal hours and will be paid at the minimum hourly rate of Massachusetts.

Once all the formalities have been completed, your new job with Green Era, LLC may commence!!!

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
