CONAGRA is Hiring a Director Contract Manufacturing Operations Near Omaha, NE

Reporting to the Sr. Director Contract Manufacturing you will lead all aspects of Contract Manufacturing for essential relationships. Provide a sustainable approach to the selection of Copackers, the startup of new items at Copackers and the maintenance of ongoing Copacker relationships. You will ensure compliance to all aspects of Copacker contracts including cost reduction processes, capacity and ensuring the Contract Manufacturers exceed standards developed and audited by Copacker Quality Assurance, Finance and other departments.

**You Will:**

Manage the most complicated and challenging relationships applying experience and credibility to influence at all levels of both the Copacker and the organization. Oversee the relationship and performance of assigned Contract Manufacturers.

Create a performance vision and develop strategies for Contract Manufacturers that reflect business tactical and strategic needs. Assess supplier performance and ensure quality, service, and cost goals are achieved through coaching and influence management.

Develop processes, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with our contracts (Financial standards and yields, Quality standards and regulations, production and shipping reporting, operational excellence, capacity requirements).

Coach company partners on supplier interaction to improve execution.

May manage a staff of Operations Managers and support organizations. Develop Staff by providing accurate and reflective individual insights, educational opportunities and experimental growth opportunities.

Lead teams other organizations in delivery of results. Lead platform operations team in the development of FY standard costs with Finance for assigned platform/product lines.

Independently manage complex and/or strategically significant projects through execution ensuring critical success criteria are met for key milestones

Develop and execute complex negotiations strategy independently (applying business acumen, creativity and negotiation skills)

Develop overall strategies using market analysis for assigned categories to meet our needs including total delivered cost reduction, new and incremental categories, and innovation.

Perform market analysis, use benchmarks, supplier segmentation, trends in technology, should cost modeling.

Program strategy owner for platform and /or Contract Manufacturing organization.

Represent Contract Manufacturing at multiple functional and company-wide programs.

Develop staff through guidance or mentoring.

**You Have:**

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or other related field of study.

Ten plus years of experience in food related manufacturing with direct experience in operations, quality assurance, supply chain management, contract negotiations, finance, and manufacturing procedures. Multi-year plant experience in a direct production leadership role and at least one other functional role.

Experience applying Focused Improvement, Understanding Loss, and Review and Response competencies

Experience applying department specific processes including should cost modeling, selection, startup / CQV, MOPD, and maintenance.

Project Management expertise and results.

Innovation experience.

Utilizing SAP to improve reporting and results.

Teambuilding and coaching skills.

Ability to travel as needed, approximately 30 to 40%
