The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides transportation services for 150,000-200,000 customers on a typical weekday, or about 45 million rides annually, through a variety of services, including HealthLine, bus, Paratransit, light rail, heavy rail, and vanpools. Detailed Description

An internal consultant to the agency must be able to listen to understand the needs of individuals seeking advancement opportunities. Ability to identify talent needs including emerging positions, gaps in capabilities, technical knowledge, and learning opportunities. Create talent pipelines to equip employees with the skills and capabilities to be successful. Create talent pipelines to equip employees with the skills and capabilities to be successful. Work with leaders to improve individual and team communications, collaboration, and performance. Collaborative approach when working with managers and their direct reports to create high-performing teams. Ability to create order out of chaos. Willingness and desire to get into the weeds of the details with multiple stakeholders prior to acting. Experience leading with influence and creating a group of willing followers. Manage the semi-annual performance review process complete with establishing common development needs, assisting employees and managers with creating SMART goals, and driving it to a timely completion. The ability to demonstrate the strategic mindset and tactical awareness required to create project plans that take us from the current state and to the desired future state.

Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in organizational development, Human Resources Business, or Education. Applicants must have three (3) years of verifiable experience building New Talent Management Programs and Processes In addition, the position will require organizational skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks. Applicants must have good communication skills. Applicants must have a working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with database programs is a plus. Successful applicants will be required to satisfactorily complete the prescribed training program before receiving an appointment.
