Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) is a private non-profit corporation, organized and designated by the State of Ohio to be the planning, coordinating and administrative agency for federal and state aging programs in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina Counties. It is one of twelve Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in the state organized with local service provider organizations and the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) to form the state's public aging services network. Job Summary:
The Talent Sourcing Specialist will play a critical role in identifying and attracting top talent to support the mission and objectives of the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and nurturing a pipeline of qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. This role requires an initiative-taking and strategic approach to talent sourcing, utilizing a variety of methods to identify and attract candidates who align with the organization's values and goals.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development to understand talent needs and develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to create a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate, and schedule interviews, and candidate follow up.
  • Represents the organization at career fairs and recruitment events to promote employment opportunities and attract top talent.
  • Utilize social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, really and referrals to proactively source and engage with potential candidates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices in social media recruitment to optimize sourcing strategies and attract diverse talent pools.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of sourcing methods and recruitment campaigns to continuously improve talent acquisition efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions to provide insights and updates on talent sourcing activities and candidate pipelines.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and recruitment process.
  • Assist with other talent acquisition and development initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate Microsoft office Suites.
  • Excellent communication and people skills; active listener.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or customer service industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including social media and online platforms.
