One of Pensacola's finest restaurants, Angelena's Ristorante Italiano, is looking for an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our Award-Winning culinary team. Work side by side with Chef and Food Network Star, James Briscione, crafting handmade pasta! What you’ll be doing to make an impact at GSRs: 

  • Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
  • Consistently complying with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, etc.
  • Preparing items for broiling, grilling, frying, and other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, etc.
  • Following proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Handles, stores, and rotates products properly.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
  • 2 years of restaurant cooking experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred with the ability to speak and understand English.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to:
    1. Standing and walking during an entire shift, averaging to 8 hours per shift.
    2. Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • A team player’s mentality with good communication skills and the ability to stay positive under pressure.
