Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This is a leadership role that requires strong managerial skills and a deep understanding of nursing practices.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination of care
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor resident satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for nursing staff
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or higher)

- Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Masters Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Proven experience in nurse management or nursing administration

-Strong knowledge of addiction medicine or behavioral health

-Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders, DSM Criteria, and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team and foster a positive work environment
- Proficient in documentation review and ensuring compliance with resident rights
