Great Northern Staff Administrators (GNSA) is Hiring a Payroll Tax Administrator Near Portland, OR

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Tax Administrator with experience in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Ready software and Master Tax to join our dedicated team. As a Payroll Tax Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, tax compliance, and reporting for our organization. Primary Responsibilities

Processes federal, state and local tax payments and compliance filings, daily.

Provides second level review of daily banking.

Resolves outstanding tax issues & ensures tax law compliance including research & response to Agency notices.

Researches and resolves client tax inquiries.

Reviews, processes and reconciles monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings, utilizing Master Tax reporting software tool.

Collaborate with the Client Services teams on correction of payroll tax records, when necessary.

Assists in year-end activities such as W-2s, SUI rate maintenance and special projects.

Organizes and maintains tax records, conducts tax studies and special projects as needed.

Preferred Requirements

Minimum of 2 years work experience in payroll tax, additional experience in accounting and payroll processing preferred

Minimum of 3 years work experience in a client service environment

Previous experience with multi-state tax reporting

Master Tax and UKG Ready experience preferred but not required

Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.09 - $27.17 per hour
