Who We Are

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers (GLBHC) is a community health center umbrella made up of 32 locations throughout the Great Lakes Bay region and beyond. Most locations are set up to serve medically underserved populations, but our doors are open to anyone regardless of insurance or lack of insurance. The services provided are sensitive to the community's needs, are not based on ability to pay, and are offered without regard to criteria such as race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Job Summary

This position includes a $500 Sign-on bonus!

The Dental Assistant provides support to the Dentist in the care and treatment of dental patients under the supervision of the Dental Center Coordinator. Performs clinical tasks as assigned under the general supervision of a licensed dentist. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Ensures appropriate and professional behavior toward all patients, providers, and staff. Participates in a team-based approach to dental. Participates in activities related to Quality Improvement.

Requirements

Registered Dental Assistant

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with expanded duties in the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• State of Michigan Radiology Certification preferred.

Dental Assistant

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years on the job training/experience as a dental assistant.
• State of Michigan Radiology Certification required within 60 days of employment.
• Certification from an accredited dental assisting program (CDA) is preferred.

Compensation, Benefits & Structure of the Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant Position

This position includes a $500 Sign-on bonus! This position includes a competitive salary structure based on skills and experience and a comprehensive benefit and retirement package. The position is based in our Saginaw, MI office, traveling around the State to various GLBHC offices as required
