Position : AMD Network/Comms PO

Location: Huntsville, AL

Schedule: Full-Time / Exempt

Position Description

Gray Analytics is seeking candidate for the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Product Owner (PO) who will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network development and updates/patches for the Communication team. The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The PO will support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and will be responsible for their verification. The PO will also be responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network. The PO will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership. The product owner will report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Basic Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, Quality of Service (QoS), and Access Control Lists (ACL)s.• Candidate must have broad understanding of Army tactical radios and Radio Frequency (RF).• Have a Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics• Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above,• Candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.• Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset• Be a US citizen

Other Qualifications:

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS is a plus• The ability to "move out" and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important.• Experience in JIRA/Confluence is a plus.• Security and Linux experience is also desired along with an Agilist certification.

Security Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
