Gravis Law, PLLC is Hiring a Training and Development Coordinator Near Boise, ID

Description

The Training & Development Coordinator contributes to the success of Gravis Law practitioners and legal support staff by ensuring our team has the training and resources to provide world-class legal service to clients. The Training & Development Coordinator will create, develop, implement, and conduct training for employees and managers. The successful candidate will have experience both with virtual classroom and the development of recorded, self-managed programs. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with the Operations teams. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, and employees.
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, online tests, and videos.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development. 
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software. 
  • Ability to travel between Gravis locations (10%)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
  • At least three years of training experience required.
  • Experience with law firm training preferred.

*Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Duties will be performed in a standard office and a remote environment. Employees must have the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Gravis policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be required to work weekends, holidays, be on call, and some employees could be required to travel overnight on occasion.
