Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to join our team. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including kitchen management, catering, banquet services, and restaurant operations. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences. Duties: - Develop and implement food service policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations - Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Oversee menu planning and food preparation to ensure high-quality meals are served - Coordinate catering services for special events and functions - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation standards - Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices - Maintain financial records and prepare budgets for food service operations - Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in the food service industry Experience: - Proven experience in kitchen management and food service operations - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Experience in catering and banquet services - Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
