GPD is looking to expand its footprint in multisite design and program coordination and currently seeking a Multi-Site Project Manager in our Atlanta, GA office location that embodies the entrepreneurial spirit GPD was founded on. This person will primarily serve as subject matter expert to provide management and coordination of multi-site design programs with national clients.
Role Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 10 years’ experience in the AEC space.
- Enjoys developing and nurturing strong client and sub consultant relationships in multi-site design programs.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and coordinate with multi-discipline architecture & engineering design teams.
- Experience managing multi-site design and development programs.
- Experience leading teams including mentorship, development, and supervisory tasks.
- Confidence and professionalism with an ability to read people and develop relationships.
- Process orientation and drive for success.
- Enjoys taking on a leadership role not only as a technical expert in our field but as a servant leader in the community and within the company.
- Thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys all forms of communications while working with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone).
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively read and understand site and building construction drawings.
- Ability to oversee various development projects in different stages simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel on occasion for site visits, client meetings, and meetings with local jurisdictions, or other GPD offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management in our Retail/Commercial group provides the opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders and in a wide variety of services that encompass our discipline in the development of multisite projects: this includes complete A & E design, survey, environmental assessment, and field services.
- Technical oversight: prepare project proposals, contract development, negotiation, and documentation.
- Client Engagement and Management offers a chance for the Project Manager to develop and build programs and client relationships to grow this team: this includes partnering with Business Development to mine for new opportunities as well as generating new business opportunities within their existing client base, while understanding clients’ needs and how they translate into specific scope and reporting systems. This person will not only meet revenue goals but actively seek out opportunities to exceed expectations while developing the office for long-term success for its employees and clients.
- Mentoring and developing the Retail/Commercial team to further our success in the industry: this includes not only architectural expertise and technical training but empowering those teammates to find their passion and skills in our industry and translating that to continued career success. This person will embody our core traits of Empowered, Proactive, Flexible, and Accountable.
- Administrative oversight: using Key Performance indicators, this includes developing, communicating, and tracking workflow tasks, scheduling, championing GPD’s quality assurance and client standards, and ensuring that project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope and budget. This also includes financial responsibility for projects and accounts and identifying resources needs and developing team staffing plans by account.
