Job Summary:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial machinery and equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment malfunctions or inefficiencies that may impact productivity.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment condition.

- Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment as needed.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machinery, including but not limited to motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

  • 3 years of experience in the field of maintenance
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and experience in the industrial setting
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, and climb

Benefits:

  • Insurance – 1st of the month after 60 days of full-time employment

  • PTO – after 90 days of full-time employment, accrual rates vary, depending on position
  • Holidays – New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
  • Paid or Unpaid Holidays – after 90 days of full-time employment, depending on position
  • Review – after 90 days of employment with potential for salary merit increase
