Job Summary:
The Business Development Center (BDC) Manager at Gosch Chevrolet in Hemet, California will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and overseeing all aspects of the dealership's BDC operations. This includes developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the BDC department. The BDC Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, and service departments to achieve the dealership's overall sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, base plus commission sales job in the auto industry. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve BDC department goals
- Manage a team of sales representatives, including hiring, training, and coaching
- Oversee all aspects of the BDC operations, including lead management, customer follow-ups, and data entry
- Monitor and analyze BDC performance and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service departments to ensure efficient and effective BDC operations
- Implement and maintain BDC performance metrics and reporting processes
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the auto industry
- Management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
