Exciting Contract Opportunity: Accountant/Financial Analyst with Accounts Payable Expertise
1st shift hours onsite Monday through Friday

Flexible hourly rate based on previous experience!

2 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries and discrepancies.
• Flexible 1st shift with a start time tailored to your needs.
• Onsite, Monday to Friday, filling in for an unexpected leave, with an undetermined contract length.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Generate reports and insights on budgetary performance.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.

General Accounting:

• Manage general accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• 1099 forms, reporting, wire/check payments, account reconciliations.

Expense Management:

• Monitor and analyze company expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• New vendor setup, handling expenses/journal entries in BP Logix.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts payable functions.
• Strong financial analysis skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
• Accounting or AP background required (preferably 3 years).

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management to meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
