Essential Job Duties:
- Assigns account and expense distribution for invoices.
- Ensures invoices are accurate and have been authorized by the appropriate approval level.
- Follow up on any outstanding items or issues.
- Receives invoices, reconciles statements and delivers prompt and accurate payments to vendors.
- Manages ongoing vendor relationships from a financial perspective.
- Processes payments via paper check, electronic check and EFT.
- Prepares purchase orders as needed.
- Ensures financial records are correctly set up and maintained appropriate systems.
- Completes administrative tasks as needed such as distributing mail.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma, required. Associate's degree, preferred.
Qualifications:
- Business office or financial services, and accounts payable experience required.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong communication skills, including oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Accounting Systems/ERP required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
