We are looking for a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, assist in menu planning, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute innovative and appealing menus

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards

• Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

• Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

• Food handler's certification and knowledge of food safety protocols
