Position Summary:

The Operations Manager's responsibilities include managing the Operations Specialists, managing the supply chain, inventory management, and overseeing the maintenance & replacement of operational equipment, optimizing processes, overseeing the operations team, and liaising with external stakeholders.

A successful candidate should be committed to improving customer experiences and ensuring operational efficiency. Ultimately, a top-notch Operations Manager should have excellent organizational, people management, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and should excel at managing details across multiple projects & departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a team of Operations Specialists.
• Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Assisting with system automations and integrations and the implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Identifying ways to improve customer experiences.
• General inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
• Training new employees and ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
• Interacting with customers and suppliers by answering questions and resolving issues.
• Tracking and reporting on operational performance.
• Maintaining proper documentation of policy and procedure.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience as an Operations Specialist or Manager in a similar role.
• Corporate warehouse and/or 3 PL experience.
• Project management and leadership experience.
• Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
• Strong people management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience with WMS, CRM, and/or Shopify.
