Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting best practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Conduct monthly and annual financial closings
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- Proven work experience as a Controller or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and practices
- Experience with General Ledger reconciliation and Technical Accounting
- Familiarity with Governmental Accounting standards and GAAP
- Strong proficiency in General Ledger Accounting and Accounts Payable processes
