Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the primary responsibility of our CNA is to offer basic patient-centered care and assistance while maintaining the safety and comfort of our senior residents.

Essential Duties

• Encourage residents to take part in the activity schedule and offers assistance with transportation if needed
• Provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment including bathing, feeding, oral care, dressing, and moving residents from area to area
• Monitor patient condition closely as well as record important vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure
• Prepare and plan meals with clients (when they are able)
• Assist patients in taking prescribed drugs
• Identify and report unusual findings or observations, clinical symptoms, behaviors, and treatment administered to the appropriate healthcare professional to ensure timely and effective intervention.
• Assist patient with prescribed exercises as necessary
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality
• Recognize emergency situations and implement appropriate emergency procedures per care center policy

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Dedicated to helping others
• Ability to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
• Excellent first aid and emergency response skills
• Ability to document appropriately on worksheets provided by licensed staff
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• Physically fit - able to lift 50lbs or more as needed
