Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will oversee the Irvine HQ facility and advise as needed. The position will perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and/or the structure of the building in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC maintenance; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Facility Maintenance
  • Performing daily quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Inspects building on a daily basis to identify potential problems
  • Testing and recommending new maintenance products
  • Create and maintain a maintenance schedule for the Irvine HQ
  • Maintaining a contact list of emergency vendors
  • Review and advise on maintenance programs for the overall company
  • Complete daily and monthly reports as required by GKR
  • Ability to perform emergency repairs for the HVAC, roofing, ceiling tiles, plumbing, and minor electrical work
  • Overseeing construction progress and reporting to supervisor
• Assisting with Additional Facility Projects
  • Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers
  • Keeping documents of inspections and problems
  • Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
  • Assisting in maintenance and inspection of company vehicles
  • Moving supplies between floors potentially without use of elevator
  • Assisting with set up of company events
  • Providing support for projects at offsite locations
• Other Duties as Assigned

Compensation Range

$43,182 - $53,277
