About the Position : IRC has an opening for a Fleet & Facility Technician . This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work outdoors on a variety of tasks and projects and learn new skills.

This position will work primarily outdoors around IRC's office location with some travel to local area vendors .

The Successful Candidate will have a valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record and at least two years of similar work experience, along with the following experience, skills, abilities, and knowledge :

• Experience in safely using basic hand and power tools.
• Experience in landscaping, along with safely using landscape equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, weed whips, chainsaws, rakes, and brooms.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an outdoor setting.
• Ability to receive and understand instructions, ask appropriate questions , and carry out work assignments safely, accurately, and in a timely manner .
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, outdoors, in diverse weather conditions.

Salary Range : $ 20 - $2 4 per hour
