Job Description:

As a Medical Receptionist at GlobeChek, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing them with a warm welcome and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar effectively.
• Answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate information.
• Verifying patient information and insurance coverage.
• Assisting with patient registration and check-in procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
