Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The role involves handling tasks independently while working closely with management and staff.
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate training classes we host
- Greet and assist visitors, answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain files, databases, and records
- Perform data entry, update paperwork, maintain documents, and word processing
- Assist in resolving administrative problems
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
- Support accounting functions such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role
- Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks, and other office software
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in a front desk or dental/medical office setting
- Familiarity with project management and organizational tasks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
