Purpose: Global Payments, Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Disputes Management Application Development team. As a Senior Business Analyst at Global Payments, Inc., you will be the functional Subject Matter Expert/go to person to manage requirements and functional/user stories for supported products. You will work with product visionaries/business partners, project stakeholders, and UI/UX, development, and QA teams, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the Product Strategic Roadmap. Essential Duties: Serve as the Product Owner on an Agile development team with co-located and/or remote , product visionaries/business partners, project stakeholders, and UI/UX, development, and QA teams. Work with the Product Manager to define and prioritize the solution delivery roadmap and IT backlog to implement the product vision and strategy, maintaining alignment between product and solution delivery teams. Manage requirements, and collaboratively plan, prioritize, and track work. Evaluate input from various sources, both internal and external, to develop detailed functional & non-functional requirements through Agile stories and other requirements documentation. Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements, communicate technical challenges to implementation, and collaborate with the delivery team to recommend acceptable solutions & delivery timelines for stakeholders. Determine the impact of changes to other systems for upcoming projects and releases. Maintain current knowledge of various payment methods & processing flows, card brand regulations, technology and competitive trends in the electronic payment industry. Identify & mitigate gaps with existing systems/processes such as, but not limited to, manual processes that should be automated, security risks and vulnerabilities. Validate application functionality by engaging in design, test case, and technical solution reviews, and completing acceptance testing. Determine & manage dependencies between the solution delivery team and other groups including operations and servicing to facilitate the deployment of completed solutions. Collaborate with the Agile team to regularly inspect and adapt the software development processes, evolving procedures and driving continuous improvement. Other Duties: This list is not all-inclusive as additional duties may be assigned by the manager. Be able to work with third party contracting companies - serving as a company representative when needed to ensure company and product standards are met and maintained, and delivery is optimized. (Assist) Work to ensure compliance is maintained with various organizations to include PCI, SOX, etc. as needed. Validate and coordinate release processes. Utilize data analysis tools to assist in all duties. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of degree. 7 or more years of experience successfully performing as a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner on small to large projects that are simple to complex. Proficient in MS Office products or similar G-Suite. Familiar with common drawing techniques using Visio, Lucid chart or UML. Proficient in Agile Central/Rally, or other requirement management tools. Exceptional leadership skills (relationship building, decision making, organization,problem solving, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts, and peers). Strong analytical skills, including interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an IT environment on an agile development team, preferably in the payments / merchant acquiring industry working on small to large projects that are simple to complex. Bankcard industry, Card brand mandatories, PCI DSS requirements, and Life Cycle of a Transaction and Disputes. Working knowledge of single sign-on, secured integrated environment, User Management, RBAC model, and Data Access Groups. Strong organizational skills including the ability to utilize project management techniques to drive projects to completion and track issues and actions as necessary.
