Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in infertility field, medical receptionist duties, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using EIVF software
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect patient co-pays and process payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Familiarity with infertility medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of EIVF
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Note: Experience working in an infertility clinic setting is a plus.
