GLADLY is Hiring a Remote Marketing Operations Manager

About Gladly:

Gladly is the only customer service software built around people, not tickets. Gladly applies AI differently, to help brands deliver radically personal customer service at scale, enabling consumers to help themselves and turning customer service agents into heroes by making them more productive. Every conversation starts with a real-time understanding of the customer. With every channel built-in – voice, email, SMS, chat, social messaging, self-service – companies have one, lifelong conversation stream with their customers. The world's most loved brands including Allbirds, Bombas, Crate & Barrel, Ulta Beauty, and Warby Parker leverage Gladly to build lifelong loyal customers.

Our team loves working at Gladly because of its people, continuous growth opportunities, all in commitment to DEIB, collaboration, and culture.

We are looking to hire an experienced, hands-on Marketing Operations Manager to help build and scale a world-class Marketing function for Gladly and who will directly contribute to the growth of our business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations and partnering closely with the VP of Growth Marketing, you'll be an integral part of the go-to-market team. This role involves collaborating closely with the marketing team to streamline operations, ensuring our tech stacks work together seamlessly, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating communication across our target audiences. You should have a proven record of scaling marketing operations in a high-growth tech environment, with a strong background in program management, process management, and technology oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and own the maintenance of our marketing tech stack, establishing and improving the scalability of processes that work and re-building processes that don't.
  • Act as strategic advisor and partner to marketing leaders in digital, community, event, content, and product marketing functions.
  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to identify how marketing can not only influence but multiply the performance of prospect and customer facing activities. Measure and improve.
  • Own campaign tracking and analytics, and make recommendations on how to improve marketing metrics overall — you have an eye for conversion optimization
  • Know the importance of good data — ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Navigate and coordinate between key stakeholders with ease. This means both staying organized while coordinating, planning, executing, and tracking projects but also communicating and coordinating effectively.
  • Own the marketing sales handoff, including lead capture, scoring, routing, and list views. Streamline and scale these processes as we grow.
  • Drive improvements to our technology stack by evaluating technologies and managing integrations. Specifically, know what we're optimizing this tech stack to do - it's better to be effective than idealistic.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing activities. Ensure adoption via enablement, coaching, and being deeply connected to members of the Marketing team.
  • Manage list uploads, data augmentation, and overall program list quality
  • Keep us compliant and adhering to best practices for data management

Qualifications

  • 5 years of marketing or sales operations experience
  • Proficiency with Marketo and Salesforce is a must. Experience with Outreach and 6sense (or similar tools) preferred.
  • Has experience scaling and optimizing Marketing Operations by improving processes, building workflows, and leveraging automation
  • Proactive problem solver - won't wait for problems/requests to come to you.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Driven by context - wants to not only problem-solve but know what we're solving for
  • Attentive to detail - wants to get it right and get it right the first time
  • Is motivated by uplifting others. Knows that the best way to scale is by making everyone more effective

  • We believe in challenging the status quo: We know that our greatest strength is our ability to cultivate a growth mindset focused on reinventing customer service.

  • We strive to make every shot count: We will never have enough "shots on goal" so we strive to make every project, feature, customer presentation, the best it can be.
  • We embrace transparency: We know the best outcomes come from collaboration followed by communication of and commitment to the decision.

Our focus is on people and that starts with our employees. As an employee you can count on:

  • Competitive salaries, stock options
  • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance
  • Generous paid time off
  • Generous paid Parental Leave
  • 401K
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Home office stipends

Founded in 2014 by a team of repeat entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, Gladly is reinventing customer service. By focusing on customers instead of tickets, we are disrupting a $70B market and are proud to count Crate and Barrel, Warby Parker and many other innovative brands as customers. Gladly has raised over $110M from Greylock Partners, NEA, GGV Capital, Glynn Capital and JetBlue Tech Ventures.

Gladly has made the decision to become a fully distributed company, allowing employees to live anywhere in the United States, and candidates to come from nearly any geographical region. That said, we also highly value our collaborative and creative culture and commit to meeting in real life as a company at least once per quarter when it is safe to do so.
