Director of Product Management
- Innovation and Insight: Work with Marketing head as a member of the ICWG to ensure global innovation work is relevant, surpasses current gold standard, and created to succeed in the NOAM Market. Align regional commercial priorities with GPM/CTL partner’s global priorities. Identify meaningful gaps and create plans to address them. Work with technical segment and innovation leadership to ensure cross-functional support and cooperation that new innovations will be adopted by the regional technical service (FC&A) teams. Collaborate with regional innovation and technical segment leadership on defining regional innovation project priorities
- Strategic Initiative leadership and Commercialization: Lead development of the regional product growth strategy and identifies business development opportunities for assigned strategic product platform(s). Work with Sales Leadership and support Product Managers to identify Customer and Product expansion targets and build business case for sales and marketing deployment. Work with Category Marketing Head to ensure Product promotional initiatives are included in broader regional and category Marketing plans. Work with Global Marketing Directors to ensure strategic alignment and regional execution is carried out as planned. Work with Field Marketing Leadership to ensure FM team is trained and to engage customers to build awareness, increase pipeline opportunities and generate new win revenue through product and technology initiatives. Lead selected product technology-drivenopportunities to co-create with customers in relevant catego ries. Partner with sensory and consumer understanding, category marketing and field marketing leaders to build relation ships and promote collaboration among marketing team members. Encourage category marketing and product management segment teams to work together to build and execute segment strategies.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Build partnerships with non-competitive/complementary players in the Taste and Nutrition spaces to provide greater value to our customers. Lead key elements of Product Management including Margin, Portfolio, and Product performance. Collaborate with the Innovation team or other connected functions, provides strategic execution leadership to key global and regional business and brand building initiatives. This could I clude things like Integrated Solutions, Co-Creation, PPA/FX. Partner with Operations leaders and the NMT to drive supply capacity understanding of demand, and supports and build business cases for Capex related initiatives. Work with external partners necessary to achieving goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant connection with work experience
- 10 years’ experience in Flavors/Ingredients or related industry, with exposure to Food & Beverage consumer packaged goods companies
- Previous experience in a multinational/matrixed business environment
- Experience working with and/or supervising people from Engineering (Chemical), Technical (Food Science) and innovation (Product Development) related backgrounds
- Sales or B2B Marketing with a strong know how of B2C Marketing
- Recognizable successes in Leadership, Collaboration, and Conflict Resolution
- Endorses and promotes communication among direct reports and peers
