Giusto is an upscale casual Italian restaurant that offers a unique dining experience to our guests. Our cuisine draws inspiration from all regions of Italy as well as nostalgic Rhode Island Italian-American dishes. Our chefs work directly with Rhode Island farmers and fishermen and source only the highest quality ingredients. The wine list is 100% Italian, featuring many natural and biodynamic producers with the same focus on quality. Our beverage program includes local microbrews, amari, and deliciously crafted cocktails using seasonal ingredients. You must have…

3 years of working as a server in an elevated dining experience.

Two work references no more than 3 years old

The ability to execute genuine, professional, friendly, and outstanding hospitality

The ability to work as part of a team in a tip-pooled environment

A basic understanding of wine, spirits, and craft beer

A basic understanding of food preparations and ingredients

The ability to stay organized and maintain a clean workspace

The ability to effectively communicate listen, and understand the English language

Weekend and night availability

A polished appearance and good hygiene practices are a must

Respect for working amongst a staff with diversity and a passion for hospitality

Dependability and a strong work ethic

TIPS certification

Reliable transportation or utilize parking options that are available to you downtown

Time-Off

We understand time off and fun is essential to one's summer. Giusto does have black-out dates when we require our staff to have full availability. Those dates are:

Memorial Weekend - May 24-27

Independence Day- July 4

Newport Folk Festival Weekend - July 26-28

Newport Jazz Festival Weekend - August 2-4

Labor Day Weekend - August 31 - September 2

Newport Annual Boat Show Weekend - September 12 - 14

All seasonal positions will not be scheduled after Columbus Day Weekend - if there is a position open you will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time position
