Job Summary:
Giorgio's Beauty Warehouse is opening a second location!
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with sales inquiries, and upselling beauty products such as hair extensions and hair products, among others, to ensure a positive shopping experience. We are a beauty retail-driven company and encourage individuals with bubbly and outgoing personalities to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide product information and demonstrate features to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience in retail is preferred
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Retail sales or beauty experience is beneficial
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations effectively
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) are an asset
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
