In alignment with Gift of Life Michigan’s core purpose and core values, our Senior Human Resource (HR) Generalist champions the Gift of Life culture and is a partner to employees and managers. This position plays a crucial role in promoting a positive work environment and fostering strong relationships within our teams. The person in this role is a problem solver.
Their main focus is to provide guidance and support to all staff on employee relations matters. This includes advising on best practices for maintaining positive relationships, guiding feedback processes and handling concerns in an effective and timely manner. The person in this role will also support the development and implementation of training programs to ensure that leaders and staff are equipped to handle matters effectively. Through a partnership with the Manager, Human Resources, our Senior HR Generalist will be an integral part of developing and implementing our performance management programs. Additional duties include supporting areas of health and safety, policy development, collaboration with other HR team members and involvement in HR projects as needed.
