Position Overview:
I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to join the team. The Regional Nurse Consultant will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple skilled nursing facilities within a designated region. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Oversight:
• Provide guidance and support to facility nursing staff on clinical best practices, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Conduct regular clinical audits and assessments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with facility administrators and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Staff Development and Training:
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of nursing staff, including orientation for new hires and ongoing education.
• Mentor and coach facility nursing leaders to promote professional growth and development within their teams.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that facilities within the region remain in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Serve as a resource for interpreting and implementing regulatory standards related to nursing practice and resident care.
• Coordinate responses to surveys, audits, and inspections from regulatory agencies.
• Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:
• Monitor key performance indicators related to clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a culture of accountability and excellence in patient care delivery.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Establish effective communication channels with facility leadership, corporate management, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other regional leaders and corporate departments to share best practices and drive organizational initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between facilities and corporate headquarters, advocating for resources and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing skilled nursing facilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the designated region as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
