Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, multitasking, bilingual (Spanish preferred) individual to provide administrative and organizational support to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of our Regional Center Programs Department. This job is a hybrid, remote and in office role. This role relies heavily on the ability to be highly organized and responsive to the emerging needs of Program Managers and other colleagues that require a quick turnaround. A successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of professional communication principles, private and confidential document handling procedures, and experience in a wide range of administrative processes.
As part of our Regional Center Operations Division, the Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring that GET SAFE’s case management staff provides personal safety, advocacy, and risk-mitigation services to persons with developmental disabilities who are registered with the California State Regional Center system. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for executing and overseeing office processes and clerical matters between departments, employees, clients, and external parties – with the ultimate goal of enhancing department-wide productivity. If you believe in serving others with compassion, integrity, and a positive attitude, we invite you to join us and engage in meaningful work every day as an Administrative Coordinator.
Working in a hybrid-remote office setting…
The Administrative Coordinator will be part of a team that primarily interfaces and interacts virtually, with occasional in-person meetings on pre-determined occasions. This means that the Administrative Coordinator will perform various administrative functions working remotely from home while maintaining on-call availability for “live” communication via multiple modes of telecommunication (e.g., phone calls, video conferencing, MS Teams messaging, etc.) with the RC Ops Team at all times during established work schedule hours. The Administrative Coordinator will also have set days/times of work that must be carried out in the agency’s administrative headquarters, located in Tustin, CA.
