The Financial Analyst will be involved with many facets of the finance and accounting functions at onPeak. This full-time position offers the opportunity to utilize both financial analysis skills and accounting principles to meet the needs of our clients as well as the hotels and attendees/exhibitors of the conferences. All of the position's responsibilities will rely heavily on an intermediate to advanced level of Excel usage.
Responsibilities
- Review client contracts and interpret financial implications
- Assist with monthly revenue accruals
- Create monthly client revenue share and subsidy worksheets and check requests
- Determine amounts to invoice hotels by reviewing/analyzing data provided by other departments
- Coordinate processing and maintenance of all attendee and exhibitor hotel deposits
- Prepare reconciliations of credit card deposit transactions
- Handle all guest payment disputes and research inquiries
- Assist with balance sheet account analysis
- Special projects with a focus on operational efficiency and analysis
Qualifications
- 4 Year Business Degree, preferably Finance or Accounting
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- High degree of professionalism and solid ability in delivering high quality customer service
- Must establish/maintain effective and collaborative working relationships through multiple forms of communication
- Able to work independently yet be part of a multi-office team
- 1- 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong technical aptitude in the Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
