Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team. As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing one of the sites and managing all aspects of security operations within that site. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of our employees, assets, and facilities.

An experienced security account manager seeking some extra income on the side would be perfect for this role. The individual must be reliable and accountable.

$20 per hour

Flexible Schedule (between day and night)

10-15 hours a week (part-time)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
• Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards.
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
• Review reports on incidents and breaches.
• Investigate and resolve issues.
• Must be available when issues or emergencies arrise on site.
• Setup check-in meetings with the property management team to discuss security performance and areas the property needs to improve.
• Check on security location you are assigned to managed 3-4 times out of the week
• Oversee Interviews for open positions.
• Oversee scheduling for all guards
• Create reports for management on security status.
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g., implementation of new technology).
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities
• Manage and coordinate security operations, including access control, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and physical security measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Community Associate Manager (CAM) license or experience
• Associate Degree
• Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Security solutions softeware or similar software for shift activities report tracking purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions pertaining to staff and implementation the scope of work for security officers.
• Familiarity with Security D license and Security G license law and rules.
• Ability to search for contracts.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors or service providers
