At George Sink Injury Lawyers, we are seeking reliable pre-litigation legal assistant/paralegals to join our high-volume, fast-paced plaintiff law firm located in the Charlotte, NC area.

As a legal assistant/paralegal, you will be the primary point of contact for the client, helping guide them through the case process. The position is fast-paced and collaborative, working alongside attorneys, legal assistants, and other legal support staff.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage attorney calendar, client meetings, assist clients with needed appointments, and taking client calls
• Responsible for documenting all actions and communication in the client's case file.
• Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
• Draft pre-litigation legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate with other legal support staff to ensure client requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
• Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Personal Injury and/or Workers Compensation.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate is a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and feel comfortable with technology.
• Litify experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Have the ability to multi-task, and work both within a team and independently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Monday - Friday
