George L. Wilson & Co., the tri-state’s number one source for high quality construction equipment and supplies is currently looking for a Union Warehouse Worker. We have been serving the construction industry in Western PA and West Virginia since 1969.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Forklift experience preferred but not required

· Follow all union related requirements and regulations

· Stock shelves

· Being able to stand and work on feet for most of the shift

· Able to lift at least 50 - 100 lbs when required

· Miscellaneous warehouse duties - i.e. painting, boxing supplies, etc.

· Help load and unload trucks for delivery in a safe and timely fashion

· Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area

· Able to check voicemails when necessary, as back up

· Helping with open and closing of doors, docks, and showroom

COMPETENCIES:

· Able to work with other team members

· Reliable transportation

· Professional and courteous demeanor at all times

· Exceptional time management and organizational skills

· Customer service-oriented mind set

· Gain an understanding of union employee duties on the job

· Able to troubleshoot questions from customers

· Computer experience a plus

· Willingness to get CDL, paid for by the company

· Basic math skills

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

HOURS: Monday - Friday shift from 7 am - 4 pm with lunch and breaks given accordingly. This is a 40 hour work week

DEGREE: High school diploma
