Title: Human Resources Generalist (“HRG”)

Reports to: Genelco Controller

The HRG will manage the relationships between the Genelco, C3 and affiliated companies (“Company”) and their employees, in accordance with stated corporate objectives. The HRG will source, recruit, hire and onboard personnel, using best industry practices. The HRG will document and implement the Company’s human resources policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to mandatory Wage & Labor laws. The HRG will facilitate interactions between personnel, coordinate performance evaluations and advise management, in order to maintain the Company’s status as an employer of choice. Travel between two Phoenix offices will be required.

  • Source best available personnel for technical, administrative, sales and other departments.
  • Create programs to attract qualified candidates, such as advertisements or job fairs.
  • Draft job descriptions ensuring required qualifications meet the Company’s needs.
  • Recruit qualified applicants from multiple sources.
  • Screen and interview applicants verifying skills, credentials, experience, and education. Coordinate background checks and drug testing.
  • Submit documented recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Prepare offer letters and negotiate salaries and other terms of employment.
  • Process new hire paperwork and perform other onboarding activities.
  • Perform new employee orientation and training.
  • Deliver and explain Company’s policies in Employee Handbook.
  • Explain company benefits when employees become eligible and process necessary paperwork.
  • Coordinate employee-relations activities (such as Company meetings or outings) and employee recognition programs.
  • Facilitate interactions among employees, and between employees and management, and arbitrate any disputes. Provide support and methods for conflict resolution.
  • Interpret Company policies, counsel personnel and answer policy questions as needed.
  • Stay informed of potential morale problems and make recommendations.
  • Perform investigations of alleged misconduct, harassment, or other violations, if needed.
  • Perform exit interviews and process employee terminations. Provide feedback to management.
  • Coordinate administration of workers’ compensation or disability cases. Process unemployment claims.
  • Advise Company on Human Resources best practices, mandatory laws, and other legal requirements.
  • Stay informed of new laws or regulations affecting the Company’s operation. Communicate relevant changes to Company management.
  • Assist in drafting the Company’s Human Resources policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook. Document and administrate said policies and procedures, updating them as needed.
  • Assist in sourcing and renewing Company’s benefit programs.
  • Schedule periodic performance reviews. Request and gather performance feedback for submission to supervising managers. Witness and document performance evaluations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

· Expert knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations.

· Minimum of three (5) years of supervisory experience.

· Minimum of three (3) years of recruitment, staffing and human resources experience.

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Good judgment and ability to make impartial and educated decisions.

· Experienced public speaker, able to address audiences and communicate effectively.

· Excellent writing skills and experience drafting business letters, manuals, policies, and procedures.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

· Able to quickly learn benefit software programs and navigate websites.

· Able to perform duties with autonomy and minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
