Program Coordinator
Gateways Crisis Residential Treatment Program

Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, a non-profit entity, is an experienced provider that operates the Gateways Crisis Residential Program, a state licensed residential facility for up to 16 adults, ages 18-59, located in Los Angeles. The Crisis Residential Program is a 24hr facility that provides round-the-clock treatment and care for its residents in a caring and compassionate environment. This is an emergency housing facility for residents being released from acute short term hospital care, the program’s goal is to obtain permanent and stable residential placement within 30 days of admission.

SUMMARY OF POSITION*
Serves as Lead Clinician at Gateways Crisis Residential location, monitoring daily clinical workflow. Serves as evaluations coordinator for both Satellite and Normandie locations, managing potential client referrals.

ESSENTIALS DUTIES*

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*
Minimum Experience Required
Knowledge of medications, working knowledge of current diagnostic manual. Clinical experience in provision of individual or group treatment and training with multi-racial (ethnic) populations.
Desired Experience
Must have superior knowledge of treatment of both acute and chronic mentally ill population, crisis intervention experience, and treatment planning. Experience with family therapy. Familiarity with systems treatment and discharge planning as well as working knowledge of community resources. Experience with preparation of written client evaluations. Experience supervising masters level and doctoral interns.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES*
Minimum Education Required
Masters or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or related area from an accredited university.
Desired Education
Graduate education/training in forensic mental health, law, psychology, and /or criminal justice.

REQUIREMENTS*
**Training needs to be completed within 30 days from the date of hire on a designated date provided by on-boarding. Staff need to be certified at the commensurate level for their role to perform their job duties (staff will be taken off the schedule if certification is not achieved).
