Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with QuickBook experience that is competent, conscientious, service-oriented individual with strong character. This person will be responsible for processing all invoices, reviewing, reconcile, and pay an organization’s bills in a timely fashion.

He/She will be reporting to the Controller and her designee(s) at our Central Business Office located in the Feather Sound area.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Experience in basic accounting/bookkeeping principles, with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment.
• Good Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Neat and clean in appearance.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
• Self-management abilities to work independently and be highly motivated.

ROLE:

Bookkeeping

- Assisting Controller with month end closing and monthly financials.

- Perform accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting,

- Reconcile bank deposits. - Reconcile Pharmacy/340B accounts.

- Data entry using Bill.com online.

- Process check requests.

- Post Payments and maintain general ledger.

- General ledger entries, record payments and adjustments.

Accounts Payable/Vendor Relations

- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
- Sorting and accurately entering approved invoices for multi-locations into system.
- Ensure pharmacy/340B medication payments are made.
- Maintain vendor A/P relationships.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries.- Maintain listing of accounts payable.

Other Duties as Assigned, including maintaining files/documentation and phone coverage.

Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.
• Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
