ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform maintenance and repair on commercial / industrial HVAC equipment such as RTU’s, Boilers, Chillers, and other HVAC equipment
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot systems
• Complete work orders and documentation of maintenance performed
• Perform start-up following manufacturers' procedures of new commercial / industrial HVAC equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment
• Provide customer service and maintain good customer relations
• Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times

Qualifications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Technicians repair and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC units. This work is often done independently. As such, Technicans must be able to safely:

• Get themselves and necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop – typically via fixed/extension ladder
•  Work at heights
•  Load and unload tools/equipment from work van
•  Lifting occasionally up to 75lbs.
•  Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
•  Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
•  Climb ladder up to roof height
•  Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 or more years of commercial/industrial or 5 or more years of residential HVAC troubleshooting experience
• Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment
• NATE certification a plus
• Universal Refrigerant Certification required, OSHA 10 preferred
• Safety Awareness
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
