About The Role

G2 is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team! In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager and assist the accounting team with accounts payable processing, journal entries, and month-end close. The ideal candidate pays attention to detail and can work quickly while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

In This Role, You Will: 

• Be responsible for accounts payable processing, general ledger accounting, supplier payments, and allocations
• Assist in the month-end close processes including accruals and reconciliations 
• Review and approve employee expense reports
• Review transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment and allocation of expenses to various departments
• Provide support for audits
• Complete various ad-hoc projects 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of corporate accounting experience including monthly journal entry and account reconciliation preparation
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
