G&J Development, Inc is Hiring a Project Manager Near Tucson, AZ

We are seeking a self-directed and proven Construction Project Manager to join our top-notch team, G&J Development, Inc. In this role, the ideal candidate will maintain a safe working environment, directly supervise, and coordinate activities of laborers, materials, and site. The direct liaison between client and G & J Development. The model applicant will have strong work ethic and be a team player. This position is responsible primarily for workflow and operations of the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel.
  • Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or project personnel.
  • Developer update project plans to including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules.
  • Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
  • Monitor costs incurred by project staff to identify budget issues. Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback.
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials. Plans, schedule, coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Produce and distribute project documents.
  • Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
  • File JSA’s and project photos in the electronic job file.
  • Complete as-builts and closeout manuals for each project and ensure it is in the appropriate electronic job file.
  • Report project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, or customer satisfaction to managers.
  • Request and review project updates to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Schedule or facilitate project meetings.
  • Submit project deliverables to clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Experience/ Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in a related field
  • With excellent knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
  • Had experience to layout, form, pour and finish concrete flatwork
  • Has ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • With general understanding of construction practices
  • Willing to travel in various job sites.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills

Education
Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Maintains a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company insurance provider/program
