FullSpeedAutomotive is Hiring a Remote Director of HR Operations

Hybrid role in Greenwood Village, CO

Summary/objective: The Director, HR Operations is focused on driving HR effectiveness and operational efficiencies across the organization. He/she provides strategic leadership and operational management for the deployment of human resources databases, information systems and operations, in addition to building out metrics and reporting dashboards. The successful candidate will be accountable for the successful adaptation and implementation of enterprise HR policies and promoting continuous improvement. He/she must have strong systems and HR analytics capabilities, as well as skills in both process and project management.

The Director, HR Operations oversees all payroll, benefits, and compensation for the company, ensuring a competitive total rewards package for candidates and employees.

Essential functions

· In conjunction with the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team, manages the development, implementation, and monitoring of the HR strategic action plan and budget.

· Provides oversight and direction for all human resource management systems and operations assuring that all HR transactions are timely, accurate and compliant and that enhancements and system improvements streamline HR processes.

· Oversees the creation of periodic and ad-hoc reports to meet demand for information to drive business results.

· Lead the development of a sustainable and scalable employee data infrastructure through the deployment and use of the company’s HR Information Systems, including web-based and mobile tools for managers and employees, and the management of accurate employee-related data.

· Oversees all compensation adjustments including promotions ensuring that market compensation data, internal data and teammate's merit history are taken into account.

· Manages the annual performance review and merit pay program.

· Coordinates ongoing review for all policies, programs and practices to ensure compliance with State, Federal and Municipal regulations.

· Responsible for benefits vendor management including annual renewals and open enrollment.

· Oversees 401(k) plan enrollment, testing and compliance.

· Lead and execute on HR systems projects to ensure efficient processes and to minimize redundancy in workload while facilitating a self-service work environment (ex: applicant tracking system, performance management).

· Design and develop monthly and quarterly workforce analytics reports for HR and SLT.

· Lead employment related audits such as IRS, OFCCP.

Required experience

· Qualified candidates will possess at least 10 years of relevant experience, with significant experience leading a strategic, proactive, and business-minded HR function in a high-growth, entrepreneurial company with multiple business units.

· Retail multi-unit experience required. Franchise and automotive services experience preferred.

· Strong business acumen and successful track record serving as a trusted advisor, working closely with senior leadership.

· Working for a private equity backed company is a plus but not required.

Required education

  • Undergraduate college degree or equivalent professional experience

Supervisory responsibilities

· Manage, coach, encourage, and develop the payroll and benefits team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
