FTS is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Syracuse, NY
One of our great partners in Syracuse, NY is looking for their next Accounting Clerk!
This position works Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. After training, there is hybrid flexibility for 2 work-from-home days per week!
The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP, but they can wait for the right candidate if 2 weeks' notice is needed!
What You Bring
- Associate's in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Math
- 1 year of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance (3 years of relevant experience High School Diploma will be considered)
- Strong computer skills and attention-to-detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What You'll Do
- Handle Accounts Receivable processes, including the careful maintenance of a comprehensive check log file and backup documentation for all received deposits.
- Execute timely and accurate entry of recurring monthly program fees into the ledger at the beginning of each month.
- Prepare, review, and validate invoices for program participants' allowances, adhering to regulations and established system protocols.
- Generate monthly client invoices and participant rosters.
- Contribute significantly to the annual agency financial audit by providing vital support and assistance in assigned areas, with a primary focus on maintaining integrity, accuracy, and compliance.
