Intimate Apparel Field Merchandiser

Vanity Fair Lingerie, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an Intimate Apparel Field Merchandiser (Full Time) in the Atlanta, GA area.

The Vanity Fair Lingerie Field Merchandiser’s key objective is to drive brand awareness and sales through interaction with our product, the consumers and store personnel.

This Field Merchandiser position is Full-time, year-round. Territory includes department, chain, and mass stores in and around the Atlanta area. Zip codes include: 30066,30067,30068.

Specific Responsibilities

• Evaluate floor presentation and prioritize store needs to actively pursue and gain dominant space.
• Develop professional working relationship with sales associates and all levels of management.
• Educate store personnel and consumers on product and promotions, including in-store bra fitting sessions.
• Review and analyze business at the store level by account.
• Sell products to consumers.
• Communicate white space opportunities, stock outs and other deficiencies to store management, Account Managers and Merchandising Managers.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of store’s assortment and markdowns.
• Communicate key information to all channels of distribution regarding competitor’s product, marketing strategies and business as it affects VFL.
• Complete accurate and timely reporting and related paperwork (e.g., store visit reports, weekly recaps, expense reports and time tracking documents).

Minimum Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel daily within assigned region (travel expenses reimbursed)
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and reach
• Ability to coach and train peers
• Computer / tablet / smart phone access
• Must have basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Job Experience Required

3 – 5 years of experience as a Field Merchandiser, or similar position, within the Retail environment
