Window and Door Field Service Technician

***Candidate must reside within 25 mile radius of Atlanta, GA***

Shift – First, Overtime Available, Possible Overnight Travel (up to 40%)

As a member of our Field Services team, you will conduct the following duties:

• Perform service work on various products and accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find the root cause of service issues.
• Completing daily assigned warranty field service tasks while taking quality photos and reporting accurate and complete product and construction issues.
• Maintain tools and service vehicles in proper and safe working order.
• Operate company service vehicles in a safe and considerate manner.
• Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region.
• Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or HSED.
• Safety First! – Must have a solid safety awareness propensity.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must have carpentry skills and ability to use hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• The ability to lift 50-75 lbs., climb, lift, pull, and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices.
• Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
• Be dependable, self-motivator, the ability to problem-solve, and contribute to building a positive team environment.
• Weekly travel with some overnights and over-time is a requirement with this position, along with flexible working hours.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in construction or a similar environment is preferred.
• Field service technician experience (or experience in the same or similar industry is a plus.)
• Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.07 - $31.77 per hour
