**Job Summary:**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Account Manager with a focus on outside sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing sales and identifying new opportunities within an established territory with assigned accounts. This role requires exceptional sales, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills are essential as the position involves working with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from manufacturing plant personnel to C-suite executives.
**Responsibilities:**
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships.
- Acquire new business and expand the account base.
- Present product offerings and create sales contracts.
- Establish goals, manage budgets, and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Engage in sales activities, training sessions, and events.
- Collaborate with team members and provide feedback to management.
- Educate customers on company policies and handle tasks efficiently.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of sales experience in a related industry, with a focus on electrical products.
- Strong product knowledge, effective communication skills, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, analytical abilities, and a valid drivers license.
- Capability to deliver presentations, lift up to 25 lbs., and travel within a specific area.
**Physical Requirements:**
- The position is primarily sedentary (75%).
- Ability to work safely at various locations and lift packages weighing up to 25 lbs. or more.
- Willingness to travel within a specific geographic area as needed.
