Job Summary:

Within the Mission and Strategic Plan established for Friendship Industries, Inc., the Customer Service Representative shall assist the Customer Service Manager with customer service, communications, and production related assignments and projects.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receive purchase orders, create work orders, and coordinate shipping of finished product
• Develop production schedule with and coordinate with customer to ensure all supplies are on hand prior to production run
• Prepares documentation for various product line orders
• Ensures supporting documents are accurate and available for all shipments
• Processes orders and maintains inventory records for product lines as assigned
• Performs invoicing functions for commercial projects
• Serves as liaison with manufacturing and sales personnel
• Works closely with Production and Quality to provide exceptional customer service (internal and external)
• Successfully works as an integral member of a team environment
• Maintains productivity data for production
• Work closely with quality department (when needed) to ensure a high quality of service, documentation, and products
• All other duties as assigned

Essential Information:

Education:

• High School diploma with technical or college training preferred. Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to read and write English.
• Fundamentals of financial record keeping and methods of performing business mathematics calculations; and the clerical methods, techniques, forms, and filing systems used in an accounting and stocking/inventory environment

Experience:

• Computer experience and competence in data entry system, Microsoft Word, Excel, and any other computer programs deemed important by the management staff
• Knowledge of modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
