Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Initiate file review once intake sends a new case
2. Participate in the investigation of facts and circumstances surrounding each case
3. Communicate with clients once case is received, introduce yourself as the assigned case manager within 24 hours.
4. Request copies of PD photos, estimate, accident scene photos, client documentation such as DL and health insurance card
5. Communicate with providers, and adjusters to provide regular case updates
6. Verify and confirm limits and liability within 48 hours
7. Confirm No Fault App/NF2 application has been sent out.
8. Once limits and liability are verified email office manager for future Ortho and MRI placement
9. Upon confirming limits and liability email legal assistant and office manager to begin requesting and sending out the following: hospital bills, records, ems records, bill if any, health subrogation LOR’s
10. Follow-up with DEC Pages/UM rejection sheet
11. Send out UM subro waivers
12. Med Pay demand if any
13. Assist clients with property damage
14. Review MRI records once received by legal assistant and advise where to refer client for ortho
15. Notify clients as their case progresses for ortho, neuro, pain management consults etc
16. Contact client if any issues rises regarding treatment
17. Send out demand packages (email, certified mail and fax)
18. Once case is ready for TD, email office manager and assigned supervisor for TD call completion
